Introducing Outpulse: Find X Buyers Before Your Competitors Do

Your buyers are already on X — they follow specific accounts, engage with specific posts, sit inside specific communities. The problem is finding them. Scrolling follower lists, opening profiles one by one, copying handles into a spreadsheet — most founders give up before they hit 50 leads. Outpulse was built to fix this.

The problem with X outreach today

X (formerly Twitter) is one of the most powerful platforms for B2B sales. The people you want to sell to are already there — they follow specific founders, engage with specific threads, show up inside specific communities. If you build a CRM, your buyers are following the people who tweet about CRMs. If you sell to dev-tool founders, they're replying to the dev-tool accounts already in their feed.

But here's the catch: building that list manually is brutal. You open a target account, scroll through 5,000 followers, click into profiles one by one, read bios, guess at fit, copy handles into a sheet. Maybe 1 in 10 actually matches your ICP. After two hours you have 20 maybes and a headache.

The math is brutal: 3 hours of scrolling profiles to qualify 30 leads, then another hour to write halfway-personalized DMs. Most founders do it for a week, burn out, and quit. The leads are still there — just unreached.

Template-based DM tools don't fix this. Sending the same canned message to a list you didn't qualify is spam — and it damages your account reputation far more than it generates pipeline.

There was no tool that combined profile discovery, AI ICP scoring, and genuinely personalized outreach — with a human in the loop on every send. Until now.

What is Outpulse?

Outpulse is an AI-powered X outreach platform. You point it at an account your buyers follow (or a tweet they replied to), and it pulls every relevant profile, scores each one against your ICP using AI, and then drafts a personalized DM in your voice for the leads you choose to reach out to.

The key word is personalized. Outpulse is not a spray-and-pray blaster. Every draft is generated using three inputs: the prospect's bio and profile context, your ideal customer description, and your own writing style (learned from posts you share during onboarding). The result reads like something you actually wrote — because it was written for that specific person.

Nothing sends without your approval. You pick which leads to draft for, you review every draft, edit if needed, and approve. Outpulse handles the discovery, scoring, and drafting — you handle the relationship.

How Outpulse works in three steps

01

Describe your ICP and pick a source

Tell Outpulse who your ideal customer is — role, company size, signals to look for. Then pick a source: an account whose followers or following list looks like your buyer base, or a tweet whose reply authors do. You can also add hard filters like bio keywords, follower range, or verified status.

02

Outpulse pulls and scores the profiles

Outpulse scrapes the profile list (followers, following, or post repliers), dedupes it, and scores each profile 1–10 against your ICP using GPT-4.1 Mini. Each lead comes with a one-line reason explaining the score. Scanning and scoring are free — only profiles scoring 7+ (configurable) make it into your campaign view.

03

Draft, approve, send

Pick the leads you want to reach out to and Claude drafts a Hook + Body + CTA DM in your voice for each one — 0.25 credits per draft. Review, edit, approve. Each DM sent costs 5 credits. Nothing leaves your account without you clicking approve.

Two source types — point Outpulse at where your buyers already are

v1 supports two source types, each tuned to a real founder-led sales motion:

Account Source

Pick one or more X accounts your buyers cluster around — a competitor, an adjacent tool, an influencer in your niche, a podcast host they all follow. Outpulse pulls that account's followers, following, or both, dedupes them, and scores every profile against your ICP. Best when you know which accounts your ideal customers orbit.

Post Source

Paste the URL of a tweet your buyers are replying to — a viral thread in your niche, a launch announcement, a hot take that pulled the right audience into the comments. Outpulse scrapes every reply author, scores them, and surfaces the ones that match your ICP. Best when you spot a thread that pulled exactly the right crowd.

You can run multiple monitors simultaneously, each with its own ICP score threshold and hard filters. An agency running Outpulse for three different clients can maintain separate workspaces with dedicated monitors, credits, and X accounts.

The ICP scoring engine: why only 7+ leads reach your campaign

A target account's follower list is mostly noise. A Salesforce competitor might have 80,000 followers — but only a slice of those are decision-makers at companies that fit your ICP. The rest are job seekers, fans, students, bots, and tangentially-interested onlookers. A naïve scrape treats them all the same.

Outpulse scores every pulled profile 1–10 against your written ICP using GPT-4.1 Mini. The model reads the bio, role, follower count, and any other signals on the profile, then returns a score plus a one-line reason — so you can see exactly why a lead made the cut. By default, only profiles scoring 7 or higher land in your campaign view.

Score thresholds are configurable. Lower the threshold to widen the funnel in narrow markets, or raise it to 9+ when you only want the closest-fit leads. Hard filters (bio keywords, follower range, verified) run before AI scoring even kicks in.

Scanning and scoring are free. You only spend credits when you draft a DM (0.25 credits) or send one (5 credits) — your cost stays tied directly to outreach actually performed.

AI drafts that genuinely sound like you

The most common objection to AI outreach tools is that the messages feel robotic. People can tell immediately when a DM was written by a template engine — and they ignore it.

Outpulse solves this differently. During onboarding, you paste 3–5 of your own X posts. Claude learns your tone, your sentence structure, how formal or casual you are, whether you use emojis, how you open conversations. Then, when drafting a DM, Claude combines:

  • Your writing style — so it sounds like you, not a template
  • The prospect's profile — bio, role, follower count, company — for real personalization
  • Your ICP and offer — so the message connects what you sell to who they are, not to a generic pitch

Each DM is structured as Hook + Body + CTA and costs 0.25 credits to draft. The result feels hand-crafted — because the context feeding it is. You'll still review and approve every message before it sends, with the ability to regenerate or hand-edit anything that doesn't feel right.

Your X account stays safe — always

X's platform policies are real and enforcement is real. Any outreach tool that ignores rate limits and behavioral patterns will eventually get accounts flagged or suspended. Outpulse was built with account safety as a first-class constraint, not an afterthought.

Built-in guardrails include:

  • Human-behavior delays (45–90 second randomized pauses between actions)
  • Daily hard caps (50 DMs/day for normal accounts, 15 for accounts in warm-up mode)
  • Warm-up mode for newer or smaller accounts, ramping send volume up gradually instead of going from zero to 50 overnight
  • Content similarity checks to prevent near-identical messages from going out in sequence

These constraints aren't limitations — they're what separates a sustainable outreach channel from a tool that burns your account in three weeks.

Why we built Outpulse

The idea came from a simple frustration: X is full of buyers clustered around the accounts and threads that matter in your niche, but there was no reliable system to extract a clean list, qualify it, and reach out — without either doing it manually (unsustainable) or using a blunt automation tool that damages more relationships than it builds.

The tools that existed fell into two camps: social listening platforms built for brand monitoring (expensive, not sales-focused) and generic DM automation tools (template-based, no ICP scoring, account-risky). Neither solved the core problem — getting you in front of well-qualified buyers, with the right message, without burning a week of your life to do it.

Outpulse was built to sit in the gap: targeted profile discovery + AI ICP scoring + personalized drafts in your voice + human approval before anything sends. A repeatable pipeline that does the heavy lifting without sacrificing the quality of every individual outreach.

Who Outpulse is built for

Outpulse works best for:

  • B2B SaaS founders doing founder-led sales who need a consistent lead channel without a full SDR team
  • Solo consultants and agencies looking for inbound-quality leads from outbound-style reach
  • Growth marketers who want to systematize social selling on X across multiple accounts
  • Early-stage startups validating product-market fit through direct conversations with people actively expressing the problem

If your ideal customers are on X and they occasionally post about the problem you solve — Outpulse finds those posts and gets you into the conversation.

Pricing: pay for outreach, not for seat licenses

Outpulse uses a credit-based model. Scanning and ICP scoring are free. AI drafting costs 0.25 credits per DM, and each DM actually sent costs 5 credits. You only spend on outreach you deliberately produce.

Why X outreach is the highest-ROI channel right now

Email outbound is saturated. LinkedIn InMail response rates keep falling. Paid acquisition costs keep climbing. Meanwhile, X remains one of the few channels where a genuinely personal message from a real person — not a brand — still converts at unusually high rates.

The reason is context. When you DM someone whose bio screams your ICP, who follows the exact account your buyers cluster around, with a message that references something specific about them — that's not cold outreach. That's showing up informed, in a place where they're already paying attention. Response rates on this kind of outreach are significantly higher than cold email because the message doesn't read like one of a thousand identical pitches.

The window is open right now. Most of your competitors are still doing X outreach manually — if at all. Outpulse lets you operate at a scale and speed that's not possible by hand, while keeping every message personal enough that it doesn't feel automated.
